Britain's Security Service has launched a recruitment drive to find electronic technicians as well as security guards and mechanics, as it expands its national staff from 2,000 to 3,000.
The campaign features posters clearly naming MI5 and marked with one-word questions such as Parked? and Gossip?, which are placed in public areas such as female changing areas in gyms and health centres.
A recruitment manager from the Security Service told the Manchester Evening News: "This campaign is aimed at raising awareness about career opportunities as part of our regional expansion.
"Adverts have been placed to target people with the skills, experience and personal qualities we are looking for."
Teamwork is stressed to be of utmost importance in the job, while personal integrity and honesty are also required for the roles.
MI5 was set up in 1909 to protect the country against covertly-organised threats to national security, including terrorism, espionage and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
Current vacancies include those for data analysts, administrative assistants, electronic installation technicians and technical project managers.
